Just wanted to start a thread of little tips and info that others may find helpful.

    1. Did someone just send you a /Tell and you want to quickly respond? The default keyboard shortcut is ALT-R
    2. Sometimes, zooming the camera all the way out during a battle can make a huge difference.
    3. Make sure to register your 3 "favored Destination" Aetherite Crystals for locations you travel to often. 1/2 price!
    4. If you focus too much on your skill bar times, you may not notice the pool of lava you are standing in.
    5. At Story Line Level 20, you can finally get your Chocobo mount in Ul'dah from Nald.
    6. Make sure to feed your Chocobo Gysahl Greens before fights after completing the "My Feisty Little Chocobo" quest (lvl 30) to use it as a companion to fight/heal alongside you. (and assign skill points as it levels)
    7. Many times, if the mob has it's back to you, you can run right past it without aggroing it.
    8. During dungeons, move your Loot Notification towards the center of your screen so you don't forget to roll for your loot.
    9. Add "Limit Break" ability (Actions/Traits: General) to your hotbar to be used in dungeons. When LB display fills up, this shared party wide ability can be used.
    10. Running out of Inventory Space? Remember, your chocobo has large saddlebags you can store stuff in and you get 2 free Retainers that each has their own inventory to store your stuff.
    11. You can gear up your retainers with your hand me downs before sending them out on missions to bring back some goodies for you.
    12. Picked up a Leve quest and got to the area designated on the map and now what? Open the Journal (J), go to the quest and click the "Initiate" button.
    13. When buying items on the trade market, make sure you go to the home city of the seller. Otherwise, you pay a delivery fee that is some percentage of the item cost.
    14. Right Click on Item Turn-ins to quickly select items from the popup without having to go to your inventory.

When you get around to buying things on the trade market, make sure you go to the home city of the seller. Otherwise you pay a delivery fee that is some percentage of the item cost. Buying iLvl 380 gear and paying 5% of 500000 gil extra hurts.

on the main Aetherythe of a city you could select change world and buy stuff in other worlds that would be way cheaper compared to your current world. I.E. if you're in Exodus you might visit Behemot to check the prices which could be 10 to sometimes 80% cheaper.
